Over a sunny weekend in September 2010, sixty vessels,
historic and modern travelled the length of the 32 mile long
Union Canal to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the pretty
waterway's reopening.
As well as the numerous canal societies, social enterprises and
community groups involved, around 15,000 visitors came to view the
colourful spectacle from the towpath and The Falkirk Wheel.
Organisers want Forth & Clyde 10 to be even bigger and
