Following the successful 'Union 10' and 'Forth & Clyde 10'
events, the Lowland Canals Volunteer Group will stage 'Wheel 10'
this July with the support of British Waterways Scotland.
The celebration, which will take place over the weekend of
Friday 6th - Sunday 8th July 2012, will mark the completion of the
full Millennium Link, reconnecting east and west coasts, Edinburgh
and Glasgow, and the Royal opening of The Falkirk Wheel performed
by Her Majesty The Queen in May 2002.
