Sail Caledonia 2012

Location: Fort William to Inverness
Date: 02/06/2012 - 02/06/2012

Sail Caledonia, or the 'Scottish Raid', takes place in the Great Glen in early summer.

A fleet of up to 25 boats powered by sail and oars will complete the 60 mile journey from Fort William to Inverness, following the Caledonian Canal and the Great Glen's natural lochs - Loch Lochy, Loch Oich, Loch Ness and Loch Dochfour.

On their way the crews will compete in races, as well as enjoying exploring the Great Glen - and some Scottish style socalising, at cèilidhs.

Sail Caledonia is an open event and anyone can join in providing that their boat conforms in general terms to one of the classes set out in the Notice to Race.

Find the Notice to Race and more information at the Sail Caledonia website.
