The Draft Scottish Canal Waterspace Strategy - Public Consultation

British Waterways Scotland will soon launch a public consultation about how we can improve and increase the opportunities for those who want to live or operate a business on the Scottish canals.

Whilst we already have residential and commercial moorings on the Scottish canals, we have never had a focused national waterspace strategy for promoting living and working on the water so this is an exciting step forward.

The consultation will be a great opportunity for everyone to play a role in debating how we create a vibrant and sustainable waterspace for the use and enjoyment of all.

Further information about the Draft Waterspace Strategy Consultation, the public consultation events and how to submit your thoughts and ideas will be posted on the website and sent out to all our customers.

If you are not currently on our database and wish to be advised when the consultation launches, please telephone 0141 332 6936 or email enquiries.scotland@britishwaterways.co.uk
