    The proposed masterplan has been developed by leading Edinburgh firm Michael Laird Architects and incorporates a vibrant mix of 525 housing units, commercial space, hotel and 60 berth marina.

    The housing will include a wide variety of house types appealing to a broad range of house buyers from single occupants and young families through to retirement homes. 

    Once planning consent is granted, British Waterways and Falkirk Council will then seek to appoint a development partner with a view to commencing works on site in 2012/2013.
