We are a network of canal based voluntary sector organisations in lowland Scotland with a shared vision of how Scotland's lowland waterways could be in ten years time and beyond. We believe we can have a stronger voice and be bigger and better together, and will work in partnership amongst ourselves and with others to share our knowledge and expertise to help achieve our goals.

You can find out a little information about all of us who make up the group on this page and read more about our aims below.

The main aims of the group are to:

    • Work collaboratively within a strategic framework
    • Improve water channels, tow-paths and destinations
    • Encourage greater involvement through community engagement and volunteering opportunities
    • Increasing opportunities for learning and skills development
    • Contributing to the community regeneration of canal-side communities
