Volunteering
What do you use the canal for?

Make a difference by volunteering on Scotland's canals

There are opportunities to get involved in volunteering on all Scotland's canals. Become a guide on the Caledonian. Help with a clean-up along the Crinan. Organise an event on the Forth & Clyde. Promote activities on the Union.

Become a volunteer

Get outdoors, meet local people, contribute to your community, conserve the past and look after wildlife. Canal volunteering can mean all that and more. You just need to find the right role.

Get involved

Tell us about your interests and availability. We'll put you in touch with other local volunteers and help you get involved.

How you can help

At the moment we are looking for people to help us with the a variety of projects. Have a look and if you are keen to take it further please complete the "Sign me up Volunteer Form" and we'll contact you to discuss how you can get involved and make a real difference.
