Welcome to The Bridge 19-40 Union Canal Society, one of the smallest and friendliest canal societies on the Scottish Lowland Canals. We own two narrowboats: Bluebell, a 45 foot boat which is used for public boat trips and Roseann, for canal environmental work.

The Forth & Clyde Canal Society is a charity operated by volunteers working to promote the Canals through boat trips, talks and heritage walks.

Cruise the calm and peaceful canal to the Avon Aqueduct in comfort on board the "St Magdalene" or journey the town stretch on "Victoria", a replica of a Victorian steam packet boat or pop in and visit the tearoom and museum.

Our Falkirk base is right at the foot of the stunning Falkirk Wheel, with routes west towards Glasgow, and east to Edinburgh through great Scottish Lowlands scenery!
