In Your Element offer both guided canoe and kayak days out and multi-day expeditions for groups. We also offer a comprehensive equipment hire and flexible passenger shuttle service for hire customers. With bases in Inverness and at Loch Lomond we are ideally placed to service both the Great Glen Canoe Trail and the Forth & Clyde and Union Canals linking Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Bridge 8 Hub provides canal based outdoor activities in South West Edinburgh. Whether participants are looking for taster sessions or more adventurous trips, we can accommodate either and tailor it to your needs.

Based centrally in the Scottish Highlands, Inverness, we live the Great Glen and are able to offer local professional guides, top of the range royalex touring canoes and P&H Sea Kayaks. All this ensure you get the most from spending time on the Great Glen Canoe Trail. We are also able to supply portage trolleys to assist groups when portaging around the canal lock gates, as well as offering canoe sails to further enhance your journey. Explore Highland are also able to offer boat shuttle services.

Glenmore Lodge is Scotland's National Outdoor Training Centre offering world class training in outdoor adventure sports. Situated underneath the spectacular Forth Road Bridge, Port Edgar Watersports CIC offers courses and hire in sea kayak, open canoe and stand-up paddleboard. We are just a short drive away from the Union Canal, making us the ideal boat hire location for anyone completing the Glasgow-Edinburgh Canal trail. Whatever journey you want to complete, we will support you to make it happen.

With our close proximity to the Great Glen, Rockhopper offer open canoe and kayak trips, and with our hire hub now open at Banavie, you can now also hire bikes, canoes and kayaks to explore the Caledonian Canal.

Snowgoose offers excellent adventure activity guiding, courses, coaching and holidays for families, friends & groups in river kayaking, sea kayaking, open canoeing, mountain walking, dinghy sailing, rock climbing & winter mountaineering as well as mountain bike hire. Nevis Range ski area is 5 miles away for winter snowsports.
