Scottish Canals’ Asset Management Strategy sets out our plans for managing our investment between 2018 and 2030, directing our limited resources to assets that pose the biggest safety risk to the public and the projects that offer the greatest public value.
What We Care For
Scottish Canals is responsible to the Scottish Government for the management and development of five Scottish canals - 140 miles of inland waterways - as well as the surrounding estates, The Falkirk Wheel, The Kelpies river navigation rights and 14 feeders.

How Do We Decide?
