Additional £1 million funding from the Scottish Government has allowed us to undertake a programme of dredging works for 2020-21 across the Scottish Canals network. As part of this we will be dredging the Crinan Canal in 2021.
The dredging works will commence at Ardrishaig Harbour in January and will continue removing high spots throughout the canal until April 2021. Works will be undertaken using floating plant and passage may be restricted. There is no towpath disruption anticipated as a result of the dredging works.
