Update February 2019

Scottish Canals invested in a new long reach excavator and modular pontoon to help carry out a comprehensive programme of dredging and weed cutting along the nation’s waterways this summer, to be delivered by Scottish Canals’ in-house dredging team.

This investment expands our current dredging fleet and strengthens the in-house expertise needed to continue safeguarding the heritage of our valuable historic assets.
