Pizza Chef – The Kelpies – Seasonal Work – £8.78per hour – Flexible Hours

This is an exciting opportunity for someone be part of our dedicated catering team at The Horsebox at The Kelpies.

An exciting new role has emerged to work together with our Visitor Services team at The Kelpies working with our new wood fired pizza oven. The role is offered on a casual basis for our busy summer season.

We are looking for someone with a confident, can do attitude, who has the potential to make the role their own. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a customer facing role, and have good presentation and communication skills, with experience in preparing and cooking freshly made pizzas to a high standard using fresh ingredients.

A key area of the role will also be to maintain standards and due diligence as well as having a good understanding of food and beverage trends to ensure we exceed expectations and continually move the business forward, commercially and operationally.

Kitchen experience would be essential with all Hygiene and Health and Safety certificates up to date and relevant.  A minimum of 1 years of catering experience or similar role required and experience with wood fired pizza ovens is highly desirable.

The role attracts a salary of £8.78 per hour. In order to provide the service our customers require, both weekend and evening work is required.
