Over the past few years we have been breathing new life into Bowling Harbour, developing a tourism and leisure destination fitting of the western gateway to the Forth & Clyde Canal.
Enjoy a bite to eat in the unique Dug Cafe, peruse the various shops located in the refurbished arches or take part in one of the many activities offered by our newest addition, the Bhive Activity Hub, all just a 30 minute drive from Glasgow!
There’s also a peaceful little beach, as well as it’s own woodland providing a wonderful little spot for fun family day visits and lots of great picnic spots. Bowling Harbour is also located at the foot of Kilpatrick Hills which offer stunning views of Bowling Harbour, the River Clyde and beyond, and the Old Kilpatrick, Bowling and Milton Heritage Trail takes in the villages of Old Kilpatrick, Bowling and Milton, stretching approximately three miles along the north bank of the River Clyde, westwards from the Erskine Bridge.
Bowling Harbour also sits on the National Cycle Route 7 and is the perfect place to start your journey north towards Loch Lomond.
