Och aye Canoe!
Join our experience instructors for a leisurely paddle down the scenic Forth and Clyde Canal.
Our open canoeing taster sessions take place on the Forth and Clyde Canal which provides a great way to introduce you to the sport whilst having a fun day out! You will find yourself truly spoilt when paddling down this beautiful stretch of water.
During your session, our qualified canoe instructors will equip you with a buoyancy aid and paddle and give a brief safety talk in preparation for your memorable canoe experience. Once you’re on the water you will be practising essential skills such as paddling in a straight line, turning and stopping and launching and landing. Once you have these all important canoeing skills mastered, your canoe coach will then guide you down the safe and sheltered waters of the Forth and Clyde Canal.
Our open canoeing sessions are suitable for both kids and adults, are a fantastic and fun way to spend the day or even just a few hours with family and friends.
