Alzheimer Scotland – Inverness Memory Walk

The Caledonian Canal is thought by many to be one of the greatest waterways in the world and Alzheimer Scotland are offering you the opportunity to experience something of what they see in this beautiful canal.

Come and join us on our fourth Inverness Memory Walk along the picturesque Caledonian Canal. Choose from the 5 mile or 10 mile option. Help us to ensure nobody faces dementia alone by enjoying a great day out for all the family and raising much needed funds for your local dementia charity.

The Walk

The route can be 5 miles out to Dochgarroch, with a return to Inverness by bus, or you can go the whole hog and walk the 10 miles return route!

Each walker is encouraged to raise sponsorship which will go towards services in your local area. With your help, Memory Walks will raise significant money to care for people with dementia in Scotland and provide support for their families and carers.

Volunteering at Memory Walk is lots of fun and great way to help make sure no one faces dementia alone.  Click here to contact the Inverness Walk Manager about volunteering opportunities.
