Ardrishaig and Lochgilphead Access Study

Scottish Canals is inviting the public to join in our consultation of the Ardrishaig and Lochgilphead Access Study.

Join us at Ardrishaig Public Hall, Small Hall, on Wednesday the 4th of October 2017 for one of two drop-in sessions:

  • 2pm to 4pm
  • 5pm to 7pm

The primary aim of the study is developing placemaking and to provide facilities which encourage greater use of the public realm and support more participation in active travel.

We very much welcome your input at our event, where we will present the preferred design options for the Corran Roundabout, Ardrishaig North and Pier Square in Ardrishaig, options for active travel, public art and lighting strategies.

Project Summary

The project team have been commissioned by Argyll and Bute Council (ABC) to deliver detailed design proposals for a number of access and public realm improvements in Ardrishaig and Lochgilphead which will serve to provide better cycling and walking connections and awareness between Ardrishaig and Lochgilphead and Lochgilphead Joint Campus to the South East of Lochgilphead.
