The Caledonian Canal and Great Glen Canoe Trail are just two Glen Ways, and we work in partnership with the other landowners along the route. We understand that it is important that we have a fair and consistent process for all event organisers considering an event in the Great Glen.
Event Charges
In line with Great Glen Ways events fees, and existing guidance for land managers dealing with outdoor events, from 1st April 2013 events on the Caledonian Canal will be subject to event fees. These fees are scaled to ensure they are always appropriate to the event.
Please download the Events Charging on the Caledonian Canal information sheet for details.
Multi-route events
If you are considering an event along several of the Great Glen Ways, such as a multi-sport event, it may be more appropriate for you to use the Great Glen Ways Events process.
