Come along and tell us how the area around the Crinan Canal can be improved!
Scottish Canals and Argyll & Bute Council in partnership with local agencies and stakeholders would like to view and comment on plans generated as part of the ‘charrette’, or design workshop, held for the Crinan Canal Corridor earlier this year.
We had over 200 visitors at the charrette events and a lot of great ideas were generated. Since then the design team have been working up some more drawings and testing some of the ideas raised, and are now ready to present these ideas in an exhibition.
Please feel free to pop in for a cup of tea at the venues listed below to view the exhibition and discuss things with the team or leave a comment on the emerging proposals. Your feedback will help inform which projects should be the most important ones to take forward first.
The exhibition and representatives from the client and design teams will be at:
Location & Time
- Ardrishaig Public Hall, Chalmers Street, 2pm – 4pm
- Mid Argyll Sports Centre, The Joint Campus, Trunk Road, Kilmory, 5:30pm – 8pm
Your contribution is vital, so come and join us for as much or as little time as you can spare, share your ideas and aspirations and help shape the future of the Crinan Canal and surrounding area.
To take part, let us know which sessions you’d like to attend by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 0131 477 4513.
We look forward to welcoming you to the event!
