The Caledonian Canal is open. Please note that deeper drafted vessels can only enter or exit 2 hours either side of high tide. External jetty not currently available. Boaters can call Corpach Sea Lock on 07917 348025 for information and advice.

Corpach Sea Lock – Entry RestrictionsVessels with a draft of 3M or more can only enter or exit Corpach 2 hours either side of high water.Vessels should not attempt to use Corpach outside jetty until anchor arrangements have been confirmed with Corpach Sea Lock.

Corpach Sea Lock closed to boats – approaches obstructed. Due to ongoing installation for the new Corpach Marina Ltd in the approaches to Corpach Sea Lock , it is not currently possible for vessels to exit or enter the Caledonian Canal. We are working urgently with the marina’s developers to minimise impact and re-open the Sea Lock.
Caledonian Canal works update
Canal will be closed to sea to sea traffic for bridge works 6.1.2023 – 6.3.2023.
The canal will be closed to sea to sea boat traffic from 4pm Friday 6th Jan until 9am Monday 6th March, so that BEAR Scotland and Network Rail can carry out work on their canal swing bridges. (Road traffic at bridges unaffected).Local boat movements may still be possible in some areas. Call the Caledonian canal office on 01463 725500 for advice if you are considering this.
