The Forth and Clyde Canal is currently closed to navigation at Carron Sea Lock 2 due to a sluice failure
Following a sluice failure at Carron Sea Lock, the Forth and Clyde Canal is currently closed to sea-to-sea navigation in this area. Divers will survey the locks on Friday 22nd April where we will be able to advise further on the scope of works and impact to boaters and towpath users. During this time the walkway crossing at Carron Sea Lock 2 will be unavailable as the gates are open to allow safe diving.
This page will be updated as works progress.
