Update Thursday 2nd June

On Thursday 2nd June 2022, Scottish Canals were made aware that a fault had occurred on a third-party bridge, Laggan Swing Bridge near Spean Bridge which passes over the Caledonian Canal.

Boat movements are unable to take place through Laggan as a result of a power fault on the bridge.

Our colleagues at BEAR Scotland will be onsite investigating the issue on the morning of Friday 3rd June 2022 and hope to have the bridge operational as soon as possible.
