Update 23 May – 10:50am
On Sunday 23rd May, Scottish Canals were made aware that a fault had occurred on Network Rail’s Clachnaharry Rail Swing Bridge, Inverness which passes over the Caledonian Canal.
Boat movements are unable to take place through Clachnaharry as a result of the rail swing bridge being unable to open.
Our colleagues at Network Rail are onsite investigating the issue and hope to have the bridge operational as soon as possible.
