Fault on the Clachnaharry Rail Swing Bridge

We are pleased to share that Network Rail’s Clachnaharry Rail Swing Bridge has been repaired and is now able to open for boat movements.
Update 3rd July 2022 – 10:30am
On Sunday 3rd July, Scottish Canals were made aware that a fault had occurred on Network Rail’s Clachnaharry Rail Swing Bridge, Inverness which passes over the Caledonian Canal.
Boat movements are unable to take place through Clachnaharry as a result of the rail swing bridge being unable to open.
