Situation updates

Our maintenance team has been busy undertaking essential works to Lock 8 top gates to address a leakage. Works have unfortunately not progressed as quickly as initially thought. One gate has substantially been refurbished and the second gate is expected to be completed by Friday, 19th August, when we will provide further updates. Boat passage from Lock 16 to The Kelpies will not be possible during this time. Thank you for your understanding.

Our maintenance team will be undertaking essential maintenance works to Lock 8 top gates to address leakage.
The stretch of water between Lock 8 & 9 will be de-watered for a period of up one week. Boat passage from Lock 16 to The Kelpies will not be possible during this time.
