Water levels have now subsided allowing us to remove the flood planks and reopen to the towpath.
Due to the high rainfall over the past couple of days, and predicted tidal range, the towpath from the M9 to the Helix Sealock on the Forth & Clyde Canal is currently closed.
Flood planks will be installed at Glensburgh Road Bridge and Devon Street until the high water levels of the River Carron subside.
