I live in Twechar beside the canal. At present there are workmen upgrading what was a dirty old towpath.
I just wanted to let you know that these men have been working away in the cold and rain for weeks now and are doing a great job!
I both walk and cycle along the towpath and have to say they always stop and stand or drive to the side to let me past. They are friendly and polite so can you please pass on to a manager that I really appreciate this.
I expected during this upgrading work people would have been viewed as a problem but this is not the case!
Well done guys and thank you!!!!
