Tree obstruction on Union Canal waterway

The tree obstructing the canal has been removed, boat traffic can pass through.

Update 16/08/22

A large, fallen tree is restricting the Union Canal between Friars Road Bridge & Preston Road Bridge, Linlithgow. This section of canal is closed to boat traffic, an update will be posted once clear. The towpath will remain open during this time.
