Young Leaders

We’re looking for budding event managers, future marketeers, digital and media savvy students to get involved in Scotland’s first ever Youth Urban Games event in North Glasgow, as part of Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018.

If you are aged between 16 and 26, have a keen interest in any of the following areas then we want your help!

  • Event management
  • Website – content creation
  • Digital communications and marketing
  • Social media campaigns
  • Marketing
  • Media management
  • PR
  • Music and arts
  • Graphic designs
  • Filming and editing
  • Photography

You’ll get the chance to work with and learn from a whole host of experienced professionals from event managers and marketing professionals to sports professionals and set designers

You take the lead

We want this to be an event for young people designed by young people – this means you’ll get the chance to make decisions, create a brand, build a marketing campaign, source and design the entertainment for the event and much more.

Year of Young People

Scotland’s first ever Year of Young People is happening in 2018. It aims to inspire all ages through its young people (8-26) by celebrating their achievements, valuing their contributions to communities and creating new opportunities for them to shine on a local and global stage. The Year of Young People 2018 will offer even more opportunities for both locals and visitors to enjoy a trip to, and around Scotland. From adrenaline filled adventure breaks and breath-taking road trips, to a range of exciting events and festivals, Scotland offers endless things to see and do during the celebratory year.
