Lily Loch Reservoir: Bridge Damage
Members of the public should be aware that the footbridge spanning the southern arm of Lily Loch Reservoir (south east of Caldercruix) has suffered severe damage. The bridge is out of use and taped off. Walkers are advised to find alternative routes round the reservoir. Â
The water level in the reservoir has been lowered in preparation for work at the dam to be carried out safely therefore areas of the reservoir have deep silt and should not be accessed.
Essential works are currently being carried out at Lily Loch under Scottish Canals' Capital Investment Programme 2023/24.Â
