Lock 16 - Centre of Excellence for Canals & Traditional Skills

Scottish Canals and Historic Environment Scotland are teaming up to transform Lock 16 into a vibrant waterside hub for community, heritage skills, and local employment and you're invited to come and take a look inside. Come along to the former A.G. Barr Factory on Saturday 20th September between 11am to 4pm to explore the space and hear from different exhibitors all about the different traditional skills that will be offered in the centre. This is your chance to explore how heritage skills are being preserved and passed on and how the new centre will support learning and training across Scotland.
