IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ

Responsible informal camping is permitted in designated spots on the following basis only:

Customers must be on ‘human powered’ trips – no cars, vans or motorbikes
Each site has a strict maximum number of small tents and people max, for single nights only
Please only use the marked pitches.
Please be considerate of residents in nearby houses - respect their privacy
Please keep noise levels to a minimum
Take all your litter away with you
DO NOT light campfires – camping stoves only please
Leave NO ‘Poo-lution’

Following these simple guidelines will help us to ensure these designated spots are available for other users in the future.

Please note that canal operating times and access arrangements may be subject to change at short notice. Should you have any specific deadlines or timescales you need to meet, please contact the canal office for advice / guidance.

Please note that conditions on Loch Ness and Loch Lochy are equivalent to sea conditions. We recommend that only experienced open water paddlers or those travelling as part of a guided group paddle these sections.
