Road Closure - Hillhead Bridge, Kirkintilloch

In late October, we will be working with contractor Mackenzie Construction Ltd, to conduct repairs to the Hillhead Swing Bridge on Hillhead Road. The steel nosing plate that forms the edging for the bridge deck is in need of replacement to ensure that the bridge remains safe and in good working order. 

Road closure and diversion - 27st to 31st October

The work will take one week, and we will need to close the road over Hillhead Bridge. Diversion routes for vehicles coming from various directions will be signposted.
