Your mooring

If you would like to keep a boat on our canals for longer than 30 days, you will need an allocated mooring.

To see the list of moorings, please select canal and a type of mooring first. If you’re not sure which type of mooring you need, please take a look at the different types of moorings that we offer here.

Please note that the form options will vary depending on the type of mooring available at your chosen location.

Please note that applications for commercial moorings will require additional information to be submitted as part of the process, i.e. business plan, financial projections. Our moorings team will contact applicants following receipt of a submission.

Long term moorings are dated from the first of the month. The minimum length of stay for any moorings is 3 months. Long-term moorings are from 3 to 12 months.

If you wish to visit the canals for less than 3 months, you need a visitor licence. Find out more about these here.

When inputting sizes please do so in metres including fenders, bowsprits, boarding ladders, davits including their loads, stern drives, out drives, rudders, anchors, pulpits, push pits and any other extension fore and/or aft of the boat.
