The Kelpies Experience

The Kelpies Experience will:

• test participants as they tackle our unique and thrilling, 25 metre aerial climb that takes you straight to the horse’s mouth
• take participants inside the world of The Kelpies unlocking the history and stories that inspired this magnificent tribute to the world-renowned Clydesdale Horse
• inspire participants with the fascinating story of the Clydesdale – the horses that powered the Industrial Revolution 

Designed by Scottish sculptor, Andy Scott, The Kelpies are a triumph of design and engineering. Each Kelpie weighs a massive 300 tonnes (the same weight as 350 Clydesdale Horses) and is constructed from more than 18,000 individual components. 

During the specially-designed aerial climb our expert guides will immerse participants in the fascinating history of the canals, the vital role played by the Clydesdale Horse and how this inspired internationally renowned sculptor Andy Scott to create The Kelpies.

The Kelpies Experience is a premium, aerial visitor experience inspiring participants with Scotland’s fascinating industrial history, awe-inspiring art and world class engineering. 

This experience is brought to you in partnership with Zone Events. A Scottish events company based in Edinburgh, who create inspirational, challenging and inclusive events in Scotland’s best wild spaces and on landmark structures. 

The Kelpies Experience will only be available initially for large group bookings or by signing up to support one of our charity fundraiser events.
