Visitors can reach the Crinan Canal Centre by car. The centre is located near Crinan Ferry, Lochgilphead in Argyll. It is advisable to use a GPS or mapping service to navigate the most suitable route based on your starting location.
By public transport
The nearest train station is in Ardrishaig, about 3 miles away. Local bus services also operate from Lochgilphead to Crinan.
There are cycling routes that lead to the fort.
The fort is accessible from the Kilmartin Glen walking trail.
