A beautiful example of Victorian architecture featuring a main hall with a seating capacity of 499, a balcony, and a lesser hall with a capacity of 130. It serves as a venue for concerts, conferences, weddings, exhibitions, corporate events, and community gatherings. The venue also houses an exhibition space that celebrates local heritage and artists, as well as a cinema in the lesser hall showcasing new releases and themed events (1.5 mile walk from the north end of the canal).
