People Strategy (2023-28)
Our vision for our workforce is of one team: a richly diverse group, inclusive of people of many abilities willing to contribute to our success, managing leading-edge technology, and collaborating both with colleagues and external partners. Prioritising safety, wellbeing, and learning, in the pursuit of excellence.
The People Strategy shows the response to our operating environment and seeks to ensure we are best placed to respond to a range of challenges, and ensure that Scotland’s canals are for people, heritage and nature.Â
This strategy has also been aligned with Scottish Canals Corporate Plan and Vision 2023-28 whilst outlining key strategic priorities and highlighting action plans to support the achievement of our wider organisational goals.
