Scottish Canals is registered in the United Kingdom under the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (“GDPR”). As the Data Controller, we’re responsible for processing any personal information you provide.
This policy statement explains our commitments to safeguarding the personal information we hold about individuals. It doesn’t apply to information we hold about companies and other organisations.
Some of the personal information we hold about individuals may be what the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation 2018 refer to as ‘sensitive’ personal data.
